A six-year-old girl died Saturday after she was hit by a vehicle in Dillon.
In a media release Monday, the RCMP said officers responded at about 7:30 p.m., to a call about a pedestrian that had been hurt in a collision with a vehicle. The girl was taken to a local clinic, where she was pronounced dead.
The Mounties said the driver of the vehicle stayed at the scene of the crash. No charges have been laid, but police said their investigation would continue.
Dillon is about 450 kilometres north of North Battleford.
