A driver is facing a massive fine after putting the pedal to the metal one night recently near Carlyle.
According to the RCMP, a driver was pulled over after being clocked doing 204 kilometres per hour on Highway 13, which is a 100 km/h zone. The driver was stopped at around 10:15 p.m. on July 28.
Not only was the driver handed a $1,358 fine, they were also charged with dangerous operation of a conveyance, and their vehicle was impounded for 30 days.
