A woman from Moosomin died early Friday after a collision between a semi and a car near that town.
A media release from the RCMP said the crash happened on the Trans-Canada Highway west of Moosomin at about 1:40 a.m. Officers determined a semi and a car had collided along the eastbound lane.
The Mounties said the woman driving the car was taken to hospital, where she subsequently was pronounced dead.
The two men in the semi didn’t report any injuries to police.
Police said the Saskatchewan Coroners Service will conduct an autopsy at a later date.
The police investigation is continuing.
