Kids mispronounce the funniest things. And Murray Wood thinks that sometimes, parents shouldn't rush to fix them.
A kayaker who went missing almost a week ago on Little Manitou Lake has been found safe.
The adult male went kayaking on Little Manitou Lake at approximately 10 a.m. on Monday, but didn’t return home after his trip.
That prompted a search for the man.
Watrous RCMP, police officers, firefighters and local residents were all involved in the search. There was also help from the Humboldt Fire Department, Saskatoon police Air Support Unit and the Civilian Air Search and Rescue Association.
Police found the mans kayak, but couldn’t locate the person until Canada Day.
Police didn’t provide any further details into how the man was located.
