A 34-year-old Saskatoon man is facing charges — including sexual assault, sexual interference, invitation to sexual touching and making child pornography — and police said the victim was a nine-year-old girl.
According to police, officers received a report in late May about child sexual abuse that occurred between August of last year and this past February.
“The victim, a 9-year-old girl, and the accused, a 34-year-old man, are known to one another,” police said in a statement.
Last Thursday, police said officers executed two search warrants on John A. MacDonald Road and Centennial Drive, where they seized electronic devices.
The 34-year-old man was charged as a result of the investigation.
