A 22-year-old woman from Prince Albert is in custody on a charge of second-degree murder.
The Big River RCMP said officers were called to an assault on the Big River First Nation on Monday just before 9 p.m.
There they found a 15-year-old female who had been seriously assaulted. She was later pronounced dead by paramedics.
The Prince Albert woman was later arrested and remains in custody. She’s to make her next court appearance on June 28 in P.A.
