Stormy weather continued in Saskatchewan on Tuesday.
As of 5:30 p.m., Environment Canada had severe thunderstorm warnings in place for areas around Strasbourg, Rowan’s Ravine, Chamberlain, Dilke, Hudson Bay, Porcupine Plain, Arborfield, Zenon Park, Ridgedale and Nipawin.
The weather service said its meteorologists were tracking a thunderstorm that was “capable of producing very strong wind gusts, up to toonie-sized hail and heavy rain.”
There were severe thunderstorm watches in place for a number of areas in the province. Heat warnings also continued for regions in the eastern half of the province.
Areas of the province have been hit with heavy downpours over the past week, causing flooding in streets and basements in communities across Saskatchewan.
