Four people were hospitalized Tuesday night after a Saskatoon police car collided with a civilian vehicle while responding to a call.
According to police, a marked police vehicle with lights and sirens activated was driving northbound on Spadina Crescent while headed to a call at about 11:30 p.m.
“They were attempting to pass a civilian vehicle when it turned westbound onto Duke Street, resulting in a collision,” police said in a statement.
There were two people inside each vehicle, police said, and all were taken to hospital for treatment, though none of their injuries were considered life-threatening.
The crash is under investigation by the police Collision Analyst Unit, police noted.
