The two inmates who escaped from The Pas Correctional Centre on Monday evening have been recaptured.
According to the RCMP, 19-year-old Xander Tardiff was arrested Tuesday afternoon. The Mounties didn’t say where he was found.
Early Wednesday, the Manitoba Mounties issued a media release saying that 21-year-old Kelly Castel had been found and arrested in The Pas.
The Mounties issued an alert early Tuesday about the escape and asked residents of northeastern Saskatchewan to watch for the escapees.
