A Saskatoon man is accused of setting 29 separate fires around the city.
According to police, the alleged arsonist was active between Feb. 20 and March 1, with most of the fires set on the city’s north end in garbage and recycling bins.
“Fortunately, community members reported the fires in a timely manner, which prevented anyone from being injured and property from being damaged further,” the Saskatoon Police Service said in a statement.
The police thanked the public for helping on the case, and asked anyone with information on suspicious fires to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
