However, according to Environment Canada, the early spring cold snap wreaking havoc on the province has led to a third consecutive day of historic temperatures.

Key Lake didn’t set a record, but at one point Tuesday morning it was the coldest place in Canada. The mercury fell to a frigid -35 C with a windchill below -40 C.
Climatologist David Phillips told the 650 CKOM Morning Show on Monday there wouldn’t be a significant warmup in Saskatchewan until the middle of April.
