Police in Cumberland House have arrested a 40-year-old man who’s facing a murder charge.
According to the RCMP, Alvin Thomas was charged with breaching release conditions by the Saskatoon police. The RCMP said he’s currently facing a charge of second-degree murder, which is currently before the courts.
Thomas, the RCMP previously noted, has the word “Crook” tattooed in large letters across his forearm.
RCMP officers from the Cumberland House detachment caught up with Thomas on Thursday, the RCMP said. He remains in police custody and was scheduled to appear in a La Ronge courtroom Friday morning.
