On the second-last game of their lengthy 11-game road trip, the Regina Pats showcased their firepower against the 2022 WHL-champion Edmonton Oil Kings.
The Pats picked up an 8-2 victory Sunday evening, with Easton Armstrong recording his first career WHL hat trick.
Connor Bedard continued his dominance of the WHL, registering a goal and four assists. Pats goaltender Drew Sim stopped 23 of 25 shots in the win.
The victory was the Pats’ fifth in their last six games. Their 11-game road trip ends Friday in Prince Albert.
