A 21-year-old man is facing a murder charge after a woman’s death on the One Arrow First Nation.
According to RCMP, officers were called to One Arrow late Tuesday night after a report of “a sudden death at a residence.” When police arrived, they found the body of 24-year-old Monique Gamble, a resident of One Arrow. Her family has been notified of her death, RCMP said.
After an investigation by officers with RCMP Major Crimes, 21-year-old Harry Paul, another resident of the First Nation, was charged with second-degree murder. Paul and Gamble were known to each other, RCMP said.
He’s scheduled to make an appearance in a Saskatoon provincial courtroom Thursday morning.
