A man wanted in connection with a stabbing in Turnor Lake on Monday has been arrested.
The Buffalo Narrows RCMP said Tuesday that 23-year-old Kobin Morin had been taken into custody.
In their initial release, the Mounties said Morin also reportedly had stolen a gun from the house where the stabbing occurred and had fled on foot.
The RCMP initially warned people not to travel to Turnor Lake while Morin was on the loose.
Turnor Lake is about 45 kilometres east of La Loche.
The RCMP didn’t have an update on the status of the man who was stabbed.
