A person has died after a collision involving a city transit bus on Wednesday evening.
According to police, the pedestrian was struck by the bus around 9 p.m. near the intersection of Clancy Drive and Pendygrasse Road. The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.
“Saskatoon Transit is deeply saddened. Our thoughts are with this person’s family at this difficult time,” the City stated in a release.
Police are working to identify the victim.
Meanwhile, police and the City of Saskatoon are each conducting their own investigations.
