A 32-year-old woman was badly hurt in a shooting Tuesday evening, Saskatoon police said.
According to police, officers responded around 5:30 p.m., to the 200 block of Avenue G South, where they found the injured victim. She was taken to hospital with serious injuries, police said, but her wounds were not thought to be life-threatening.
“Currently there are no suspects in this incident,” police said in a statement, adding the case is still under investigation by officers with the Serious Assault Unit.
Anyone with information on the shooting was asked to contact police or make an anonymous tip through Crime Stoppers.
