A 25-year-old man is in stable condition in hospital after he was shot early Friday morning in Saskatoon.
According to police, officers were dispatched to Pawlychenko Lane shortly before 3 a.m. after getting reports of gunshots in the area. When police arrived, they found the injured victim, who was taken to hospital by paramedics.
The suspect fled the scene before the officers arrived, police said.
The shooting is being investigated by the Saskatoon Police Service’s Serious Assault Unit, and police said they believe the victim and perpetrator knew each other.
