A man from the Wilkie-area was killed in a highway crash Monday afternoon near Lanigan, according to RCMP
The two SUV crashed around 2 in the afternoon about eight kilometres west of the town.
Police said the Wilkie man was driving one of the SUVs — he died on scene. A woman from that vehicle and the man who had been driving the other SUV were both sent to hospital. Police didn’t elaborate on either of their conditions.
Highway 16 was fully blocked for several hours while RCMP investigated but police haven’t said what the cause of the crash was.
