Stretch of of Second Avenue closed for Downtown Sidewalk Sale

Saskatoon’s Downtown Sidewalk Sale runs Thursday to Saturday, and part of Second Avenue will be closed to accommodate the event.

According to the City of Saskatoon, Second Avenue will be closed between 20th and 23rd Streets on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. The closures take effect at 5:30 a.m. each day. The downtown avenue will reopen to traffic at 9 p.m. Thursday, and at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

Transit routes may be affected by the closures, the City noted, and detours will be in place.
