A 45-year-old North Battleford man is accused of killing his mother.
The RCMP said officers were called to a home in North Battleford on Tuesday morning after reports said a person was injured.
When officers arrived, they found 72-year-old Beatrice Geering, who was declared dead by paramedics. Her family has been notified of her death, police said.
The same day, the RCMP said officers with the Major Crime Unit arrested Walter Geering. He’s now facing a charge of second-degree murder in connection with his mother’s death, and made his first court appearance Friday morning.
