For the third time this spring, a sinkhole opened up on Saskatoon roads.
The large hole formed Wednesday afternoon at Broadway Avenue and Eighth Street where city crews have been working on a water main repair.
Road closures are currently in place impacting the southbound lanes of Broadway Avenue and all eastbound lanes of Eighth Street.
The city is asking drivers to avoid the area, if possible, and to allow extra time if their commute takes them in this direction.
According to the city, sinkholes are not very common, but at least two vehicles in the city have fallen victim to them this spring.
