Traffic restrictions have been lifted following an incident Thursday morning near Saskatoon’s E.D. Feehan Catholic High School.
Police suspected someone was inside a residence on Leif Erickson Place with a gun.
Officers could be seen going door to door in the area, and roughly an hour later police announced they had several people in custody. No other details were released.
Derrick Kunz with the Greater Saskatoon School Division said the high school was placed under a perimeter lockdown, which means classes continued but school doors were locked.
Police said the public will notice a police presence for a while as officers continue to investigate.
