There was a heavy police presence near Confederation Mall Saturday afternoon as Saskatoon Police officers were monitoring the area.
According to press release from Saskatoon Police, officers were searching for a suspect in the area of Confederation Drive and Laurier Drive and there is belief the suspect is carrying a firearm.
Police have since dialed back in the area and it is now accessible to the public.
