The City of Saskatoon says the repair bill for the damaged pedestrian walkway over College Drive could ring in at around $100,000.
According to the city, the figure is only an estimate and the final total could be less depending on how repairs go.
On Dec. 7, a crane being hauled by a truck hit the concrete overpass at the University of Saskatchewan.
The pedestrian overpass is to stay closed until repairs are completed early in the new year.
Police said the driver was issued a ticket for a ticket for driving without due care and attention.
