A seven-month-long RCMP investigation into a suspicious death near Medstead has resulted in first-degree murder charges against two people.
On Nov. 27, Glaslyn/Turtleford RCMP were called after a man was found dead near a grid road about 30 kilometres southeast of Glaslyn. The man subsequently was identified as 54-year-old Bradley John Ham.
After an investigation by the Saskatchewan RCMP’s Major Crimes Unit South, 27-year-old Jonathan Swiftwolfe and 24-year-old Cassandra Fox were charged with first-degree murder and warrants were issued for their arrests.
Fox was arrested Monday at the Pine Grove Correctional Centre and Swiftwolfe was arrested Wednesday at the Saskatchewan Penitentiary.
