I am not one for predictions, but I do believe the Anaheim Ducks will lose out to Nashville in round three of these Stanley Cup playoffs.
Nashville can threaten opposing teams from all angles.
Three of the top seven playoff scorers among defencemen in these Stanley Cup playoffs come from the Nashville Predators.
One immediately thinks of P.K. Subban when it comes to offense. He has seven points in ten games, but there are two other Predators blueliners who have more points.
Ryan Ellis has nine points in ten postseason games, while Roman Josi has eight.
In these playoffs we’ve seen the good John Gibson and the bad John Gibson in goal for the Ducks. Anaheim will need a great John Gibson to emerge if they are going to have a chance, which may be a lot to ask for.
Of the four remaining starting goaltenders in these playoffs, Gibson has the highest goals against average.
Nashville will advance to the Stanley Cup final in six games.
