Three people have been charged following raids at locations in Saskatoon and Waldheim, Sask.
It started Wednesday with a pair of arrests in the area of Violet Street and 112th Street after what police described as an investigation into drug trafficking.
From there, members of the Saskatoon police tactical unit assisted with raids at homes on the 700 block of Childers Crescent, the 700 block of Melrose Avenue and the 300 block of Arscott Crescent.
Officers also searched a home in Waldheim, a small town about 40 minutes north of Saskatoon.
Police reported seizing over 200 grams of methamphetamine and over 400 grams each of cocaine and cannabis resin as a result of the searches. An assault rifle, a vehicle and about $30,000 in cash were also recovered.
Two men, 20 and 34, are facing drug charges and charges of possessing proceeds of crime.
A 28-year-old woman was charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine.
The investigation is being handled by the combined forces special enforcement unit, which is made up of officers from the Saskatoon, Regina and Prince Albert police services along with members of the RCMP.
