Saskatoon police say they didn’t find a man with a weapon after responding to a call in the 300 block of Avenue H South on Monday.
Police got a call at about 11:40 a.m., that a man had been seen at a house armed with a large knife and a sawed-off gun.
Traffic was restricted in the area, a nearby school was locked down and members of the tactical support unit were called.
While officers did clear several people from the house and garage, they didn’t find an armed man. No one was injured.
