A 45-year-old man from the Big River First Nation is dead after a single-vehicle crash Friday on a grid road just west of Leoville.
According to the RCMP, officers from the Big River and Spiritwood detachments responded just after 1:30 p.m., to a call of a rollover on Grid Road 793.
On the scene, officers found a vehicle upside down and submerged in water near an abandoned railroad track.
The lone occupant of the vehicle was found dead inside.
An RCMP collision reconstruction analyst from Prince Albert is investigating the crash.
Leoville is about 160 kilometres northwest of Prince Albert.
