Police have ended their search for a missing 56-year-old man after he was located safely near Market Mall Tuesday.
In a news release, police said the man was located “near a business in the 2300 block of Preston Ave South” shortly after 12:00 p.m.
The City of Saskatoon activated its NotifyNow alert system for the missing man, who had been missing since Monday afternoon.
There was a concern that he was in a vulnerable state.
Officers from the Public Safety Unit, Equity and Cultural Engagement Unit, Patrol and School Resource Unit aided in the search on foot and by vehicle.
