Stabbing victim dies in city’s third murder of the year

Saskatoon police are investigating the city’s third murder of the year.

A 31-year-old man is facing charges of second degree murder after an alleged stabbing Friday.

Officers were called to the 1400 block of 20th St., near St. Paul’s Hospital, after hearing that a man had been stabbed.

There, they found a seriously hurt 23-year-old man. He later died from his injuries.

Police have not yet released the identities of either the suspect or the victim.
