The cold weather is wreaking havoc on at least one main road in Saskatoon.
Just before 7 p.m. Monday, Saskatoon police advised the public that a water main break is causing a road closure on the southbound lanes of McKercher Drive. Southbound lanes from 8th Street East to Parkdale Road are closed to all traffic at this time.
Motorists and pedestrians are being asked to avoid the area. Northbound lanes are open at this time.
