Saskatoon school bus service cancelled as cold snap lingers

The cold snap forced the cancellation of school buses in communities across the province on Thursday.

All buses serving Saskatoon public and Catholic school students were cancelled.

Service is automatically cancelled when the temperature with windchill is below -45 C.

The Prairie Spirit School Division, which includes communities between Saskatoon and Prince Albert, also cancelled bus service Thursday.

Schools were open.
