A terrifying incident for two people inside a North Battleford home Monday night.
RCMP were called to a residence on Panton Avenue around 8:45 p.m. for a complaint about a shooting.
The investigation revealed that two men and two women forced their way into the home.
A 31-year-old man inside was shot in the leg with a small caliber firearm while the woman home at the time was assaulted.
According to RCMP, the suspects got away in a dark coloured SUV before they arrived.
The motive is not clear, but police do not believe it was random.
Both the man and woman injured are expected to make a full recovery.
