A 14-year-old boy is dead after an altercation at a west-side home Monday evening.
According to police in a news release, the incident began shortly after 7:30 p.m. at a home in the 400 block of Avenue R South.
Several people entered a home without permission and a fight ensued.
The teenage victim suffered life-threatening injuries and later died in hospital.
Officers from major crimes and the forensic identification section are continuing the investigation.
No arrests have been made.
