RCMP have charged 30-year-old Danny Ledoux with second-degree murder in a suspicious death.
On March 3 RCMP found 28-year-old Cindy Joseph of Ahtahkakoop First Nation unresponsive in a home in Mistawasis First Nation.
She was pronounced dead at a hospital in Shellbrook.
According to police Ledoux and Joseph knew each other.
Ledoux is set to appear in Prince Alberta Provincial Court on Thursday.
Mistawasis is located 78 kilometres west of Prince Albert.
