The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) informed Greater Saskatoon Catholic Schools of a positive COVID case at St. Joseph High School.
The risk of exposure is considered low, according to Greater Saskatoon Catholic Schools.
SHA staff are doing contact tracing and working with the board to inform parents and caregivers.
“In recent weeks, we have seen how social behaviour outside of school affects COVID-19 cases in schools,” a media release said. “Students and families are reminded to be diligent in performing daily health screening.”
