Starting Wednesday, Saskatoon police will be conducting a downtown public safety initiative.
In a release, police say members of the Foot Patrol will be focusing on educating the public through the enforcement of bylaws and provincial and federal statutes to enhance safety for those in the Downtown Business Improvement District.
Police say the public can expect to see an increase in police presence downtown from Wednesday to Saturday and again from Nov. 4 to Nov. 7.
