Saskatoon’s Holy Cross High School has confirmed its second positive COVID-19 case since classes resumed earlier this month.
In a media release from Greater Saskatoon Catholic Schools, the Saskatchewan Health Authority notified the school late Friday afternoon.
Health officials are working to inform parents and caregivers while conducting contact tracing. No outbreak has been declared. Risk of exposure remains low for anyone not considered a close contact, according to the release.
Classes will resume as scheduled.
This is the second positive case at Holy Cross since school began on Sept. 8. The first case was confirmed in a letter to parents on Sept. 14.
