There has been a COVID-19 case reported at Lumsden High School.
The Prairie Valley School Division confirmed it was told about the positive case on Sunday. It won’t say if it was a student or staff member who tested positive.
The school had cleaning protocols in place and work was done to ensure the school was safe to open Monday morning. Classes are continuing as normal.
The school division said public health is continuing to investigate the case and do proper contact tracing.
The school division said it is following the direction from public health when it comes to dealing with the issue.
