An incident involving a firearm at the Salvation Army store in Saskatoon’s north end has ended with a man in custody.
A man pulled out what police describe as an imitation weapon, causing customers and workers to flee the store in panic.
There was a heavy police presence in the area of 42nd Street and Faithfull Avenue at around 4 p.m.Wednesday and that had traffic in the area very backed up.
A short time after the police arrived, they were able to take the man into custody.
An individual has been taken into custody and a firearm has been seized. An update will be provided following the investigation. #yxe https://t.co/zkk98Zi30o
