Charges pending following multi-vehicle collision in Saskatoon’s north end

A 39-year-old man was transported to hospital following a serious collision Monday evening.

The collision, between a pickup truck and the 39-year-old on a motorcycle, closed traffic on 71st St. and Idylwyld Dr. North from around 4:40 p.m. to just before 10 p.m. Monday.

The motorcyclist was sent to hospital by ambulance following the collision, with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the pickup truck wasn’t injured in the collision.

The Collision Analyst Unit is continuing its investigation, but the traffic restrictions have been lifted.

Charges are pending, although police did not say which driver was at fault.
