An Onion Lake woman is facing second-degree murder charge after the death of a man on New Year’s Day.
Shari Heathen, 27, was arrested by the RCMP on Thursday in connection with the death of Braeden Alfred James Sparvier.
Sparvier was found dead on a rural property in the R.M. of Frenchman Butte east of St. Walburg on Jan. 1.
Police have not said how he died, but ruled it a murder two days later.
Heathen was scheduled for her first court appearance on Friday in Prince Albert provincial court.
