Saskatoon police are investigating the death of an 18-year-old man on Saturday as a homicide.
Police were called to a home on the 100 block of Avenue K South just after midnight with reports of a man being shot.
When officers arrived, and 18-year-old man was found injured and pronounced dead at the scene.
Major Crimes and Forensic Identification were called to the scene and are actively investigating.
Police say “a large number of people from the scene are in police custody” and are being questioned, according to a media release.
Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call Saskatoon Police or call Crime Stoppers.
This is Saskatoon’s fifth homicide of the year.
