Saskatoon police arrested a man Tuesday evening in a park near the Delta Bessborough Hotel after reports of an aggressive person with a large knife.
Officers responded at 5:10 p.m. and found a man walking with a knife in his hand in the busy park.
The man dropped the knife but refused to comply with officer commands, according to a police news release.
Police believe he was under the influence of an intoxicant.
