The death of a 27-year-old woman in Hudson Bay has led to a first-degree murder charge for 32-year-old Steven Lee Lewis.
RCMP were called to a residence around 5 p.m. Friday after receiving a call that a woman had been shot.
When emergency crews arrived they pronounced Stacie Lewis dead.
Steven was arrested soon after and has been remanded into custody with his first court appearance scheduled for Tuesday morning in Melfort Provincial Court.
The investigation is ongoing.
Hudson Bay is about 160 kilometres east of Melfort.
