A date has been set for a provincial byelection in the Saskatoon-Meewasin riding.
Premier Brad Wall announced that voters in the riding, located on Saskatoon’s West Side, will head to the polls Mar. 2.
The seat was previously held by Sask. Party MLA Roger Parent, who died in November 2016.
Wall made the announcement at the home of Brent Penner, previously announced as the Sask. Party candidate.
Dr. Ryan Meili is set to run on behalf of the New Democrats.
David Prokopchuk will run for the Progressive Conservatives.
Darrin Lamoureux will be running for the provincial Liberals.
