A woman is facing charges after attempting to assault people with a tree branch in the Pleasant Hill area of the city Monday morning.
When police responded just before 10:30 a.m., the woman also kicked one of the officers before being taken into custody.
She also was found to be in possession of three baggies of methamphetamine.
The incident took place in the 100 block of Avenue O South.
A 40-year-old woman is charged with assault, possession of methamphetamine and breach of probation.
