On Tuesday, RCMP stopped a vehicle near Maidstone for a driver’s licence, registration and sobriety check.
A subsequent search of the vehicle took place and one kilogram of cocaine was found.
Amanda Casella Buyco was arrested and charged with possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking.
Buyco will appear in court on August 25 in Lloydminster.
